1 1/2 lb ground beef, browned
1/2 tsp oregano
1 chopped onion or 1 Tbsp minced dried onion
1 clove garlic, crushed or 1/8 tsp dried garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
2 cans water
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 wedge Romano cheese, grated

Brown meat, add spices and liquids, add cheese.
Cook at medium heat till mixture boils; stir; turn down to simmer and cook for at least 4 hours. (It takes that long for the spices to blend and melt the cheese)

Personal Notes:
This recipe was originally from Shirley Norberg.

Ah, my favorite recipe of all-time! people often ask me if I want to eat some spaghetti with my sauce, and I frequently get caught eating spoonfuls from the pot as it cooks! I remember requesting this every time M.O.M. asked what I wanted for dinner! - Jenny
