8 eggs, beaten; 1 tsp. prepared mustard; 1 tsp. Lee & Perrins; dash of salt, pepper & nutmeg.
1 qt. half 'n half; 2 lbs cooked, crumbled and drained sausage; 6 slices bread, buttered on both sides; 1 lb fresh sliced mushrooms; 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

Directions:
Line bottom of 9x13 pan with bread. Spread sausage and mushrooms (that were cooked together); mix remainder of ingredients, except cheese. Pour over top. Cover and refrigerate over night.
Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes at 375º. Add cheese and leave in oven for 5 minutes, but turn oven off. LET STAND FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES BEFORE SLICING.
