Applesauce Cake Recipe

1 C. sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
2 1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. raisins
2 C. HOT applesauce
1 t. baking soda
1/2 C. oil
1/2 C. chopped walnuts

Mix first 7 ingredients in large bowl. Heat applesauce in saucepan until hot, but not boiling. Add baking soda, walnuts and oil. Add applesauce mixture to dry ingredients, mix well. Pour batter into greased angel food cake pan. Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes.
