2 oz. diced salt pork
2 onions chopped
2 T flour
4 cups water
6-8 medium potatoes cubed
1 can creamed corn
2 cups evaporated milk
2 T butter
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry salt pork in a heavy kettle till brown and crispy. Add onions, fry, then remove pork. Blend flour with a little water and add it and potatoes and enough water to cover potatoes
Bring to a boil and simmer till potatoes are done. Add canned milk, corn, and butter. Season with salt and pepper. Heat well at this point but DO NOT
BOIL. Serve with oyster crackers or soda crackers
