Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups Elmer's Glue
1 1/2 cups warm water
food coloring
1 1/2 cups water
4 teaspoons Borax soap
(20 Mule Team Laundry Booster)

Directions:
Directions:
In one bowl mix the Elmer's Glue and 1 1/2 cups warm water. Add food coloring to desired color. In another bowl mix 1 1/2 cups water and 4 t Borax soap. Combine the two bowls together. At first the mixture is very stringy. Kneading it will work it to the right consistency. If you store it in an air tight container in the refrigerator it will last for months. We play with GAK using cookie cutters and rolling pins. You can roll it like a snake and even cut it with scissors."

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
"Here is an alternative to play dough. I like it because it doesn't get as messy, and the children are fascinated with the texture. We call it GAK.It has an amazing chemical reaction -- almost as much fun to make as it is to play with!
