30 whole wings
¾ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup water or orange juice
¼ teaspoon “Five-Spice Powder”
½ cup light soy sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:
Cut wings into 3 pieces, discarding first (papery) joint. Melt butter in a 2-cup glass measuring container in microwave. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Place wings in a large plastic container such as Tupperware, and pour mixture over wings. Cover and marinate overnight, or all day, shaking container occasionally (or stirring) to coat pieces. Bake in a large lasagna pan or cookie sheet lined with heavy tin foil. Lay the 60 wing pieces flat in pan and pour excess sauce over all. Bake at 350° for 1½ hours, turning every piece at least once halfway through. May be served hot or cold.

These are also wonderful prepared and cooked a day or two in advance – this just enhances the flavor!

Hint: try to buy fresh, meaty wings that have already been cut into pieces, which will include only the 1st and 2nd wing sections.
