1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (20 oz). can pineapple chunks, drained reserving juice
1 cup ketchup
2 to 3 Tbls. lemon juice
2 or 3 Tbls. soy sauce
3 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned,
cut in strips
1/4 cup flour
2 Tbls. oil
1 Tbls. sesame seeds
Hot cooked rice

Heat oven to 375°. In med. saucepan, combine onion, sugar, garlic powder, ketchup, and 3/4 cup pineapple liquid, lemon juice and soy sauce. Bring to a boil. reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. In a plastic bag or bowl, coat chicken in flour. In lg. skillet over med. heat cook chicken in hot oil 4 to 5 minutes till lightly browned. Arrange chicken in 9x13 pan with pineapple. Pour sauce over top. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
