1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups oats
1 cup raisins (optional)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
6 oz. choc. chips
and if above 3000 ft. 1/4 cup flour

Heat oven to 350°. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients. Stir in oats, raisins and choc. chips. Drop by tablespoon on to ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool completely and store in airtight container
