Puffy Corn Fritters

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
¾ spoon salt
1 table spoon sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 can whole kernel corn, well drained


Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt & sugar.
Blend milk and eggs together, add gradually to dry ingredients. Stir in the whole kernel corn drop by spoonfuls in hot fat. 375, take up on paper towel.
Serve with maple syrup.
