1 lb. ground beef
1 med sliced onion
8 large carrots (cleaned and sliced)
6 potatoes (cleaned and cubed)
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Salt
Pepper.

Directions:
Directions:
In a med. casserole dish or dutch oven, crumble 1/2 of the raw ground beef on the bottom to cover, top with 1/2 of the onion, 1/2 of the mushrooms, 1/2 of the carrots, 1/2 of the potatoes. Season lightly W/ salt and pepper. Repeat layers of ground beef, onion, mushroom, carrots, potatoes. Top with 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and spread to cover all the potatoes. Season lightly. Bake, covered, @ 350º for an hour.

Serve with a crusty roll for a homestyle meal. The original Dero recipe does not include fresh mushrooms, but my family loves this addition!
