1 can minced clams, drained
2 cans whole baby clams, partially drained
1 can chopped clams, undrained
1 yellow onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup red wine
3/4 cup water
salt
pepper
2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 lb. linguini or spaghetti, cooked al dente

In a medium saucepan, saute the evoo, onion and garlic till soft. Add some salt and pepper. Add the wine, and let cook for a minute or two. Add the crushed tomatoes and the water (can add more or less depending on how thick you like your sauce)add the clams and the juice. Taste for seasoning. Add parsley and red pepper, combining well. Let cook for at least 1 hour or until the flavor of the clams is all through the sauce.
Serve on top of pasta and add cheese to taste.

This is a quick "go to" meal that my son, Al couldn't pronounce, but he sure could eat! For the real deal, use fresh clams, but in a hurry, this is wonderful.
