1/2 cup butter
1 tbsp liquid sweetner
1 1/2 cup sugarfree applesauce
1 egg slightly beaten
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and liquid sweetner, add slightly beaten egg and vanilla, then add the applesauce and beat well. Sift flour baking powder,baking soda and the spices and add to creamed mixture. Then add the dates and pecans and beat until well mixed. Turn into a buttered 11x7 loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hr, so says the recipe ( i bake mine 45 to 50 minutes, I think it gets to dry baking it 1 hr.
