1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
This makes a very stiff dough. Take a small amount and roll into ball about the size of a walnut. Put on cookie sheet and flatten with a fork, making a "#" look on top. Bake at 325º for 15-20 min.

Good and tasty but have alot of milk on hand. Still not Mom's Molasses cookies.
