2 pkgs active dry yeast or 2 cakes compressed yeast
1 cup water
1tsp sugar
2 cups scalded milk
2/3 cups melted shortening
3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
10 to 11 cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
soften yeast in luke warm water. Add 1 tsp sugar to yeast mixture. Add milk (cooled to luke warm),shortening,3/4 cup sugar and salt. Add eggs, beat well. Add flour to make soft dough. Let stand 10 min. Knead on lightly floured board. Place in a greased bowl and store in refrigerator. (shape rolls) cover dough. About 2 hours before serving let rise until dough doubles in size. Bake in hot oven at 425 degrees about 15 to 20 min.
