1 lb.confectioners-soft sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. of nuts

Directions:
Add sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in a bowl. Cook 2 minutes in microwave on full power. Stir well. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Add one cup nuts (optional). Makes 1, 8"x5" pan.

Mom gave me this recipe when she was trying new recipes she had found for the "microwave". She preferred making things in an oven, but this was quick and easy. She was always trying new recipes because her home was never without some types of treats for everyone.
