1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. oleo
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk ( or 1 Tbsp. vinager in milk)
2 tsp. soda
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Cream together Crisco, oleo, and sugar. Add eggs, buttermilk. Blend. Add soda, salt, vanilla, and flour. Blend well.
Drop by teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 8-9 minutes or until lightly browned.

Frost.
