1 head of cabbage
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 jars spaghetti sauce
1/4 c. diced onion
1/2 c. raw rice
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
12 oz. cottage cheese
3 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
1/3 tsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves

Preheat oven to 375º.

Cook and drain cabbage. Cook and drain meat. In frying pan combine cooked meat, spaghetti sauce, onion, and rice. Bring to a boil and shut off.
Mix cottage cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, eggs, and remaining seasoning.
In baking dish layer cabbage, cottage cheese mixture, then spaghetti sauce/meat mixture.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours. During the last 15 minutes of bake time, top with 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
