1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
8-oz. can mushrooms, drained
10 3/4-oz. can cream of golden mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
12 oz. pkg. fine egg noodles, cooked
Parsley for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Saute ground beef and onion in a large skillet with butter; drain. Stir in flour, salt, garlic powder, pepper and mushrooms; heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add soup; simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce; heat throughly. Spoon over warm noodles to serve. Sprinkle with parsley.

Both my mother and Mom Walker prepared meals with hamburger much of the time when we were growing up. The times were hard and hamburger meat went a long ways for big families. This is a recipe I love to prepare when the weather turns chilly and it reminds me of those delicious meals at my in-laws when I would visit during high school. . .
