1 package yellow cake mix
2 sm. cartons whipping cream
1 sm. package instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. egg nog

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare and bake cake according to package directions in 2 layer pans. When cool, slice each layer in half horizontally so you have 4 layers. In chilled bowl with chilled beaters beat whipping cream with pudding mix and egg nog until stiff (about 10 min.). Frost cake and refrigerate 6-24 hours.

Although you do not put egg nog in the cake itself, it has an egg nog flavor after chilling a while. Some people like this best on the second or third day.
