8 c. Original or Cinnamon Quaker Oat Squares (1 16 oz. box)
2 c. pecan pieces
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda



Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250. Combine cereal, pecans in
13"x9" pan. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and
margarine in 2 cup microwave safe bowl. Cook on high for 1 1/2 mintues. Microwave 1/2 to 1 1/2 minute more till boiling. Stir in vanilla and baking soda and pour over cereal mixture. Stir to coat evenly. Bake 1 hour in 250 oven, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on baking sheet to cool. Break into pieces.
