Ingredients:  
1 C prunes plus water to cover
2 C sugar
1 C oil
4 Eggs
1 C buttermilk
1 t soda
2 1/2 C flour
1 t cinnamon
1 t salt
1 t nutmeg
1 t cloves

Icing:
1 C sugar
1/2 C margarine or butter
1/2 C buttermilk
1/2 t soda
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the prunes and water for 3 minutes. Drain water. Cool. Blend together the sugar & oil. Add the eggs. BEat well. Combine soda and buttermilk. Add to sugar mixture. combine dry ingredients and add to the above. Stir in prunes. Pour into creased angel food or bundt cake pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.

Icing:
Boil all icing ingredients for 2 minutes and then let cool about 10 minutes. Pour over cake while cake is still hot in the pan. Let stand for 5 minutes and remove from pan.
