2 c sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 T sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c finely chopped rhubarb
2/3 c chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 T butter
1/2 c pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, 2 T sugar and salt. Cut in butter until mix is grainy. Add brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Stir in rhubarb and nuts. Bake in a greased 9 in x 13 in pan after sprinkling brown sugar, butter and nuts over the top. Bake 350º for 30-35 minutes.
