4 thick pork chops
2-3 tart apples
4 sweet potatoes, peeled
Salt
Pepper
1/4 c. water
Directions:
Directions:
Wipe off chops, place in a deep covered casserole. Peel and slice apples, place on chops. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Slice potatoes 1/2 inch thick and put on top of apples. Salt and pepper, add water. Cover tightly and bake 1 hour at 400º. Uncover till browned on top. You can use regular white potatoes in place of sweet potatoes.
