2 1/3 cup flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. & 3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup milk
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup melted margarine
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat over to 450º F.

Sift and measure into a large bowl: 2 1/3 cups of flour.
Add and mix well: 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. & 3/4 tsp. baking powder and 3/4 tsp. salt.
Add and cut in with a pastry blender or knife: 1/3 cup shortening.
Make a well in the flour mixture and pour in: 1 cup milk.
Stir quickly until flour is moistened.
Turn dough out onto a well floured surface.
Knead gently 10-12 times.
Form dough into a smooth ball and roll to a 1/4 inch thickness.
Spread dough with softened margarine.
Sprinkle with a mixture of: 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon.
Roll up dough and pinch edges together.
Cut into 1 inch pieces and place close together on a GREASED baking sheet.

Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
Drizzle with glaze.

GLAZE

Mix together well:

1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup melted margarine
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
