1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 c. fresh rhubarb, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 c. thickly sliced strawberries
1 Tbsp. orange juice
1 pkg. prepared double pie crust
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, flour, nutmeg, rhubarb, strawberries and juice.

Prepare pastry, putting one crust into 9-inch pie plate. Pour mixture into pie crust; dot with butter. Roll out remaining crust over top of pie (or cut remaining crust into 1/4 inch strips to weave lattice top for pie).

Bake at 400º about 50 min. or until fruit is tender and crust is well-browned. If necessary, protect edges of pie with foil strip for last 15 minutes of baking to prevent overbrowning.
