Mix the ingredients of the coffee mixture in a bowl for dunking:
5 tbsp. sugar
2 c. brewed espresso or really strong coffee
1/3 c. Kahlua

Whip in a glass or metal mixing bowl on low speed:
1 lb. marscapone cheese
1/3 c. sugar (generous)
1 tsp. vanilla
Scrape into a medium bowl and set aside.

In the same mixing bowl whip to peaks:
1/-1/2 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. sugar

Once whipped stir 1/3 of whipped cream into the marscapone cheese mixture. Then fold in the remaining whipped cream.

Assemble the Tiramisu:
Dunk ladyfingers quickly into coffee mixture and line the bottom of a 9"X9" pan. (Use sparingly, there will be a lot left over). Spread 1/3 of the cream mixture evenly over the ladyfingers. Sprinkle with cocoa powder of chocolate shavings.
Repeat the layers two times. (Remember to alternate the direction of the ladyfinger layers.)
