2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt 2/3 c. shorting
1 egg beaten 1/2 c. milk
Sliced Apples

Directions:
Directions:
MIx the above ingredients. except the apples like pie crust. Divide into 2 parts. Roll out & put in 15x 10 cake pan.Put sliced apples on top. Mix 1 c. sugar & 1/2 tsp cinnamon & sprinkle on top. Put the top crust on. Bake at 400º for 20 min. Turn down oven to 375º bake for 30-45 min. longer.
Frost with powder sugar frosting when still warm.
