3 pints half and half 3 c sugar 1 can evaporated milk 3 c fruit (chopped or pureed) juice from 3 lemons (9 T bottled lemon juice)
Combine all ingredients. Churn in ice cream maker surrounded by rock salt and ice.
I like to use pureed fruit so that there aren't big frozen chunks of fruit and the flavor is more spread out. I like to add more fruit as well (usually 1/2-3/4 cup). This recipe is featured in #1 Northfork Road.
