3oz. package of cream cheese
½ cup soft butter
1 cup flour
Filling Ingredients:

¾ cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon soft butter
1 beaten egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
A dash of salt
½ cup of chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Let cream cheese and butter soften at room temperature.

Pastry: Blend cream cheese & butter. Stir in sifted flour. Shape dough into one inch balls and place into tiny greased muffin tins. Dip finger in flour and then press dough on bottom and sides (making a little dough cup).

Filling: Mix butter and brown sugar well. Add beaten egg, salt, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in crushed pecans. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

*Tip: Let cool before removing from tin. Gently twist the tarts rather than prying them out (to avoid breaking). Eat the casualties
