1/4 head lettuce
1/4 bunch Romaine lettuce
2 ribs of celery
2 green onions
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 c. almonds, carmelized, slivered or diced (saute over low
heat with 1Tbs.+1 tsp. sugar, stirring frequently in a heavy
1/4 c. salad oil
2 Tbs. sugar
2 Tbs. red wine vinegar (or raspberry vinegar)
1 Tbs. parsley
1/8 tsp. salt
dash pepper
dash tobasco

Mix dressing.
Stir into salad mixings, top with oranges and almonds.
