Butter
Salt

Directions:
Cook potatoes as usual. Cut sorrel in small pieces, wash well and cook in separate pan in 1/4 C water with a pinch of salt, and 1 T butter. When potatoes are cooked, drain and add sorrel undrained and mash together.
Serve with sausage or pork chops.

We always brown bacon and crumble in this.

Personal Notes:
Paula's Note: I cook my sorrel with my potatoes and I use bacon grease instead of butter. I crumble lots of crispy fried bacon in.
