1/2 C butter
1 C brown sugar, firmly packed
2 t. salt
2 t. soda
1 t. each cinnamon, cloves, ground ginger and allspice
1 1/2 C light molasses
About 6 1/2 C flour
2/3 flour to use for rolling out cookies
Goodies to decorate with: raisins, frosting, coconut, colored sugar, red hots.
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º.
Roll out on floured surface, cut with gingerbread man cookie cutter.
Cook 10 minutes.
Cool before frosting and decorating.
