1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick cook oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in sauce pan. Add both sugars, milk, and salt. Bring to a boil. After a full boil is reached, boil for 1 min. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Add oatmeal and mix well. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet covered with wax paper. It they don't set up quickly, put in the freezer for 5-10 min.

Diana Markley submitted the same recipe. However, to give the cookies a chocolate flavor, she suggested adding 5 Tbsp. cocoa to the above recipe.
