4 c. Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Shortening
1 Tbsp. Yeast
1 1/2 c. Scalded Milk

Combine dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Add to scalded milk cooled to room temperature. Add yeast. Knead or mix in bread mixer until smooth. Deep fat fry in vegetable oil. Serve with honey and butter.
