These soups are warm and comforting enough to heal the sick, but they are really intended for the work-weary cook who needs to prepare a soul-satisfying meal in a bowl - quickly!

No matter which version you choose, follow the same easy 4 steps:
1. Prepare "Fast Chicken Soup Base". Bring to a simmer.
2. Add _________, then simmer until tender, 10-20 minutes.
3. Before removing from heat, stir in ___________.
4. Final touch: Add salt and pepper, to taste.

Classic Chicken Noodle Soup: Add 3 cups egg noodles. Stir in 1 cup frozen green peas and 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley.

Chicken and Rice Soup: Add 3/4 cup long grain white rice. Stir in 1 cup frozen green peas and 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley.

Chicken Tortellini Soup w/ Zucchini and Tomatoes: Add a 9 oz package refrigerated cheese tortellini, 1 can diced tomatoes, 2 medium diced zucchini, and 1 tsp dried basil. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley.

Chicken Soup with Pasta and White Beans: Add 2 cans white beans, drained, 1 cup small pasta, 1 can diced tomatoes, 2 tsp minced fresh rosemary. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley.
