1 Cup Kayro syrup
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
½ Cup Water
2 Cups Peanuts (Spanish or other)
1 ½ Tbsp. Butter
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Baking soda


Directions:

Cook about ½ hour until it reaches 310º degrees on a candy thermometer or hard crack stage. Then add the butter, vanilla and baking soda.

Spread on cookie sheet and leave until it gets cold.

Really good recipe for peanut brittle. I make this every Christmas. I break it up and spread it across the batches of cut out cookies I take to other's homes.
