Blend 1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. flour

1 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon peel
3 Tbs. lemon juice
2 Tbs. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Blend 1/2 c. soft butter, 1/4 c. powdered sugar, and 1 c. flour using two knives or a pastry blender.
Press into a 9x9 square pan and bake for 15 min. at 350.
Blend 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 2 tsp. lemon peel, 3 Tbs. lemon juice, 2 Tbs. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder.
Pour over first layer and continue baking 20 min.
