1/2 lb. butter,
2 cups unbleached Hecker's flour,
2 cups chopped pecans,
5 tablespoons sugar,
2 teaspoons vanilla,
1 tablespoon water,
1/2 teaspoon salt.
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and add sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt together and stir into mixture. Add pecans and mit thoroughly. Using portions about the size of a small walnut, roll into crescent shaped cookies. Bake in a slow oven (325º) about 20 minutes. While warm, roll in powdered sugar.
