1 c cake flour
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1 1/2 c egg whites
1 1/2 tsp cream tarter
1/3 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
1 c granulated sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together 3 times the cake flour and powdered sugar. In another bowl combine egg whites, cream tarter, salt and flavoring. Beat until egg whites are foamy. Add granulated sugar, a little at a time and keep beating until STIFF. Fold in flour and sugar in small amounts. Turn (pour) into large tube pan (do not grease) and bake at 375 º for 35 minutes.
