1 cup soft Butter or Oleo
1 ½ cup Sugar
2 Eggs

Mix together thoroughly
Add 2 ¾ c flour, 2 tsp cream of tartar, 1 tsp soda & ½ tsp salt
Chill dough
Roll into small walnut size balls
Bake at 400 until lightly browned ( about 8 minutes)
