Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

1 pkg Yellow Cake Mix with Pudding
1/3 cup Margarine or Butter (softened)
1 Egg

cup Brown Sugar
1 cups dark corn syrup
3 eggs
1 cup Chopped Pecans

Reserve 2/3 cup of the cake mix for filling
Combine dry cake mix, margarine & 1 egg
Press in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan
Bake at 350 15 - 20 min until browned
Combine reserved cake mix - brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla & eggs beat until smooth
Pour filling over warm base
Sprinkle with pecans
Bake an extra 30 or 35 minutes until set
Cool completely
Cut into bars
Store in refrig
