Chocolate Caramel Bars Recipe

Grandma Morrell


1 c Oatmeal
1 c Brown Sugar
1 c Flour
1 c Butter melted
1 tsp Baking Soda
tsp Salt
1 pkg Caramels
1/3 c milk
1 c Chocolate Chips

Combine oatmeal, brown sugar, flour, butter, baking soda and salt and mix well
Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan
Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes
Let cool
Slowly melt together the caramels and milk
Pour over cooled crust
Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramels
Sprinkle remaining oatmeal mixture over the chocolate chips
Bake at 350 for 10 -12 minutes
