1/3 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1 13 oz can evaporated milk (1 2/3 C)
1/4 C Sugar
1 t Vanilla
dash Salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
In a small skillet,stir in 1/3 C sugar over medium heat until sugar melts and becomes golden brown. Quickly pour caramelized sugar into a 3 cup mold (or bowl) I like to make individual ones using custard cups).
In a bowl beat eggs and stir in milk, 1/4 C sugar, vanilla and salt.
Pour mixture into carmelcoated bowl(s)
Set bowl(s) in baking pan on oven rack. Pour hot water around mold in the pan to a depth of about 1 inch.
Bake uncovered 50 - 55 minutes or until a knife inserted half way comes out clean. Chill. Carefully loosen custard from sides. Invert on a plate.
