1 C Butter, softened
1/2 C Powdered Sugar
1 t Vanilla
2 1/4 C Flour (do not use self rising flour)
1/4 t Salt
3/4 C Nuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400º. Mix thoroughly butter, sugar, and vanilla. Work in flour salt and nuts until dough holds together. Shape dough into 1 nich balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until set but not brown. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.

This recipe came out of an old cook book. Mom use to make these little buttery balls at christmas. They are really good.
