1 lb. ground beef, browned & drained
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 t. salt
Dash pepper
1, one lb. can cut green beans, drained
1 large can tomato sauce

5 medium potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
After browning meat, add onion and cook until tender. Add seasonings, green beans & tomato sauce. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Mash hot potatoes, add milk and egg. Season. Drop in mounds over meat mixture. (Delicious to sprinkle with 1/2 c. grated cheese). Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes.

The homemade mashed potatoes are great; however, instant mashed potatoes also work well.
