1 T. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 cups small bread cubes
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (3/4oz.) anchovy fillets, drained and chopped
2 quarts torn lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
1 raw egg
1 California avocado

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, heat the butter and garlic powder; saute bread cubes in mixture until golden. Remove from heat. In a salad bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper, and cheese. Add anchovies and greens; toss. Break egg onto salad and toss until flecks of yolk disappear. Peel and dice avocado; add with bread.
