Duncan Hines Devil Food Cake mix
1 jar of Maraschino cherries
Follow the recipe for cake mix and cut in small pieces
1/2 of the jar of cherries and add to the mix.
You can substitute cherry juice for liquid in the recipe to flavor.

Icing (From the back of the Hershey Cocoa Container)
1 Stick (1/cup) butter or margarine
2/3 Cup Hershey's Cocoa
3 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/3 Cup of Milk
1 tsp of Vanilla

You can use chopped cherries in the icing or top cake with remaining cherries.
You can also flavor the icing with cherry juice added to the milk to make 1/3 Cup.
Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on med. speed to spreading consistency.
Add more milk or sugar if needed. Stir in vanilla. Makes about 2 Cups
