2 C. dry bread cubes
4 C. scalded milk
3/4 C. granulated sugar
1 T. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
4 slightly beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak bread in milk for five minutes. Add sugar, butter and salt. Pour slowly over slightly beaten eggs, add vanilla and mix. Put in greased casserole dish. Place casserole dish in larger pan, pour hot water into pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
