1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. cooked rice
1 small onion, grated
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
12 large cabbage leaves
2 Tbs. oil
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients with 1/2 can tomato
sauce.
2. Soak cabbage leaves in boiling water 4 min.
Drain.
3. Place equal amounts meat mixture on each
leaf. Roll up, fold ends over, fasten with
toothpicks. Brown in oil.
4. Mix remaining tomato sauce, brown sugar,
lemon juice. Pour over rolls. Simmer, covered,
1 - 1 1/2 hrs., basting occasionally.
