2 1/2 - 3 lb. pot roast
1 - 2 Tbs. oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. dry sherry
2 Tbs. sugar
1 cube beef bouillion
1 stick cinnamon
8 carrots, cut into large pieces
4 potatoes, peeled and halved

1. Brown roast; add onion and brown; add
remaining ingredients except carrots and
potatoes; simmer, covered, 2 - 3 hrs.
2. Add carrots and potatoes; simmer, covered,
30 min.
3. Thicken juice with 1 Tbs. cornstarch dissolved
in 1/4 C. water.
